Broadcast writing is different from other forms of writing. Broadcast writing is different from print news writing because broadcast writing is very watered down. It has a lot cut out because of the amount of itme it has to present itself. Broadcast writing is also very sensationalized and does not have source names to put into a story like print news writing. Print news writing is very precise and full of facts. Print news is very unbiased and based off of proven actions. Both writings are similar, however, in the sense that they tell stories and give information to people. Some criticisms of broadcast writing is that it is so sensationalized and sometimes they do not have a true source. There source does not have to be as backed up as one in print news, so therefore it is criticized by the public as gossip. One way to help the criticism could be to fact check there sources more and maybe have some pictures shown. It is hard for broadcast writing do this because of the time they are allowed to do it in, so it is also criticized for cutting out material due to time length but that is not something that can really be helped.
