My purpose of creating this blog is mainly because it is required for this class, but also to share my ideas and thoughts of what goes on in this class. My major is Public Relations. I had originally decided to major in Broadcast Journalism, but when I spoke to the advisor and told him my plans he encouraged me to choose this major because it opened doors to more fields I may be interested in down the road. I hope to become a publicist for an athlete or team. I like to put a twist on facts and ideas when I mess around with my friends, so I became interested in this long ago. I want to take away the best experience I can from college. I want to be able to tell crazy stories, but I want to be able to balance them out by saying how well I did in my classes also. I plan to achieve my goals through gaining many connections. I am trying to do as much as I can in college to gain connections to help me out in my career. I love the saying "It's all about who you know." I truly believe this, and by building my networking and working hard I plan on achieving everything I do.
